Ebco has manufactured and refurbished Hydro Power Generation components for many of the world’s largest OEMs and has supplied components or complete systems to some of the largest installations in North America as well as many smaller and run-of-river type projects. Ebco’s 240,000 Square Foot Facility is located on a 13-acre site in Richmond, BC. Our One-Stop-Shop houses small and large fabrication & machine shops and is equipped with state-of-the-art production-oriented CNC machinery.

-Lifting Capacity - Max 180 Tons 40’ under hook (shops), Max 50 Tons 33’ under hook (yard)

- We have built, assembled and tested tunnel boring machines with diameters up to 28’ as well as the first Canadian-built Demag H-185 hydraulic mining shovels and many hydroelectric turbines and other turbine related components.
- The Light Precision Machining & Fabrication (LMF) Division is a contract manufacturer
and mass production manufacturer of light to medium metal products.
- LMF specializes in fabrication, welding, machining and assembly built to ISO 9001-2008 quality standards.
- LMF contract manufactures high quality, precision components and complex fabrications to various industries including aerospace, pulp and paper, military, nuclear medicine, transportation and more.
- Our recently expanded sheet metal fabrication shop is now equipped with state of the art CNC punching and CNC brake forming equipment capable of meeting very tight tolerances.
- We also manufacture custom perforated sheet metal in full sheets, or in smaller panels for industrial and architectural applications.
- All of our laboratory equipment is built to order so we are able to customize it, and add features as required to suit your needs.
- Ebco offers a full range of mining and aggregate repair services on cone crushers, jaw crushers and impact crushers. Ebco has performed disassembly, repair, rebuild and re-assembly on crusher components from every major manufacturer of rock crushers.
- We perform repairs on haul truck parts, shovel components, and many other parts from mine and aggregate operations.
- We excel in the repair and refurbishment of existing turbine equipment and provide specialized machinery and experience to perform all the functions necessary for a successful shop refurbishment to bring the components back to OEM condition
- Ebco has a large in-house stress-relieving furnace and most major repairs on heavy steel castings and weldments are stress-relieved prior to finish machining.
- For the Pulp & Paper industry we repair Washer Drums, Vats, Repulper Screws, Inlet Boxes, Pumps, Fans, Press Roll, Screws, Mixers, Screen Rotors and more.
-Because of our large machine tools, Ebco can handle repairs on parts that are too large for most shops.

- Our Quality Assurance system is vigorously applied to ensure accuracy and consistency of the finished products.
- Granite surface tables accurate to 0.0002” are used for inspection, together with optical tooling equipment and certified inspection tools and gauges that are housed in a humidity and temperature-controlled inspection area.
- Inspectors are certified to ASNT level II for liquid dye penetrate, magnetic particle and ultrasonic nondestructive testing.
- Inspectors are also AWS & CWB certified and are responsible for supervision of subcontracted radiographic inspections of welds.
- Helium and hydrostatic testing.
- Ebco is also proudly certified under the Canadian Controlled Goods Program which is identical to ITAR (International Trade in Arms Regulations) where we have met the criteria as a secure facility to manufacture equipment for uses in military applications where strict controls are required for the secrecy of the components as well all documents and specifications involved.
