Leighton Contracting (2009) Ltd. has been operating as a civil construction firm in the Mid Vancouver Island Region since 1975. Over the last four decades we have been successfully completing civil construction projects varying in size and complexity including the installation of BC Hydro Infrastructure.

 Excavation – Leighton operates a fleet of excavators ranging in size from 5 to 35 tonne
 Earthworks – Leighton owns and operates rollers, graders, bobcats and skid steers for movement and placement of gravels.
 Habitat Restoration – Leighton has completed numerous projects within environmentally sensitive areas working closely with local environmental professionals. Leighton is experienced in stream diversion and habitat restoration having recently completed projects working within and restoring fish bearing steams and rivers.
 Trucking – Leighton operates a fleet of trucks including gravel trucks/rock trucks/low beds/slinger trucks
 Hydro Vac – Leighton owns and operates a Hydro Vac Truck
 Skilled Labor – Leighton has experienced crews skilled in pipe/conduit installation, technical large scale excavations, environmental protection and remediation works, electrical component installation including pull boxes, conduits, pilasters and LPT/PMT Pads
 Road Building – Leighton is experienced in all facets of road building
 Land clearing – Leighton is experienced in land clearing including removal and disposal of wood waste
